We have seen similar trends in the past week 16 as in the period since mid-February. Telecom traffic and media consumption are up dramatically, but there isn’t just good news for the TMT sector – far from it. Live events are scrapped, shops are closed, costs are on the rise and the advertising market is imploding. As a result, share prices are down and relief funds are created to provide for the livelihood of all those affected, especially in the realms of sports, arts and entertainment.
